sky main event and sky action

    hi can’t seem to get sky main event or sky action in sd on cable there the only two channels i can’t get is anyone having the same problem or does anyone know how to solve it thanks

    can’t see any reports here or on other forums of these channels missing Tony,make sure abm configs are up to date & run a scan, see if that returns them, no harm either to check your cabling & splitter are sound

    they are there marty but just says tune failed its only on those two channels so don’t understand it as i have two sat boxes both saying the same thanks marty for your advice mate

    if you’re getting tune failed check cables are tight & secure, are you using correct net id for your area, tune failed means it can’t pull the channel, either poor signal or loose cable ,most likely the latter

    edit: just saw the bit about the sat boxes, these channels don’t clear on sat anymore Tony,

    Tune failed means the box can’t tune to the selected frequency. Usually this means you have the wrong frequency stored which can be fixed with an ABM scan. Another reason is a poor Cable TV signal.

    AS there are around 10 channels on a SD transponder, you will find there are more than just the 2 channels affected. Try Sky F1, Sky Arts SD, Fox SD and QVC, they are on the same transponder here.

    thanks marty and linscat linscat thanks for your information your right there is the ten channels effected ive done the abm scan on the blue button no effect will have a look at the cable wires tomorrow every other sd transponder is working was just surprised one isn’t thanks for all your help guys cheers
